Internal Cell wing is a committee to ensure the safety,dignity and empowerment of women in the University(Teaching, Non- teaching girl students and technical). According to Act 2013Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace is a legislative act in India to protect Women from Sexual Harassment at their place of work and for prevention and Redressal of complaints of Sexual Harassment and for matters connected there with or incidental thereto.
Internal cell also creates a mechanism for Redressal of complaints. It safeguards against false and malicious complaints and evaluate the grievances and suggest measures and actions for achieving safe and healthy environment. It also insights into issues concerned with Gender inequalities, violence and insecurities faced by women employees and girl students.
