The University College of Arts and Social Sciences is a distinguished centre of higher learning that provides students with meaningful opportunities to explore the diverse dimensions of Humanities and Social Sciences. Our academic programmes encourage students to understand human behaviour and society through multiple perspectives encompassing social, cultural, economic, environmental, historical, and political contexts. The college is proud to have distinguished academicians, including State Best Teacher Awardees, along with faculty members possessing qualifications such as UGC-NET (JRF), SET, Ph.D., and Post-Doctoral research experience. Our facilities include advanced computer laboratories, language laboratories, social science laboratories, e-classrooms, smart classrooms, and a virtual classroom. The college library provides students and researchers with access to an extensive collection of books, journals, reference materials, and scholarly resources, thereby encouraging independent learning and research. The campus also provides essential facilities including a spacious playground, canteen, separate hostels for boys and girls, and Wi-Fi connectivity, contributing to a supportive and learner-friendly environment.
