Welcome to the Institute Industry Connect (IIC) at Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda.
The Institute Industry Connect (IIC) was established on 12 February 2025 with the vision of strengthening the partnership between academia and industry. In today's rapidly evolving business and technological environment, higher education institutions must prepare students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical skills, professional competencies, and industry exposure. IIC serves as a bridge between the University and industry to reduce the gap between classroom learning and workplace expectations.
Our primary objective is to foster meaningful collaborations with industries, corporate organizations, start-ups, research institutions, and public sector enterprises. Through these partnerships, we strive to create opportunities for internships, industrial visits, live projects, expert lectures, skill development programmes, and collaborative research initiatives that enhance students' employability and career readiness.
Internships are one of the key focus areas of IIC. We are committed to facilitating quality internship opportunities for students across various disciplines, enabling them to gain hands-on experience, understand organizational practices, and develop the professional skills required in today's competitive job market. These experiences not only enrich academic learning but also build confidence, innovation, and problem-solving abilities among students.
IIC also actively encourages industry experts to engage with our students and faculty through seminars, workshops, guest lectures, mentoring sessions, and joint academic activities. Such interactions promote knowledge exchange, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of industry-relevant curricula.
As Director of Institute Industry Connect, I invite industries, alumni, government organizations, start-ups, and other stakeholders to collaborate with Mahatma Gandhi University in creating meaningful opportunities for our students. Together, we can build a vibrant ecosystem that nurtures talent, promotes innovation, and contributes to sustainable socio-economic development.
