Department of Computer Science & Informatics
Prof. Rekha Redamalla, currently serving as Professor of Computer Science and Informatics; Principal at University College of Engineering and Technology; and Dean - Faculty of Engineering and Technology, is having 25 Years of teaching Experience and 16 Years of Research Experience. Received her MCA from Sri Padmavathi Mahila Vishawa Vidhyalayam- Tirupathi; M.Tech–Computer Science from JNTUH–(Campus) Hyderabad; Ph.D from University of Udine–Italy. She has been appointed as Associate Professor in April 2012 at Mahatma Gandhi University and has been promoted as Professor in the Year 2022.
She has published twenty one research papers at International/National Journals/Conferences including Springer, Elsevier, Cambridge Univ. Press, UGC Care etc. She worked as Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for about 10 years and was Principal in the year 2011, at Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women, Hyderabad. Since 2012, She served the University and held several Academic and Administrative positions including-
- Principal at University College of Engineering and Technology-MGU, since March 2022 to till date
- Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology -MGU, since Jan 2023 to till date.
- Chairperson- Board of Studies for Computer Science –MGU, since Jul 2018 to till date.
- Head of the Department of Computer Science and Informatics- UCET-MGU from Oct 2016 to Oct 2018.
- Founder Principal at University College of Engineering and Technology-MGU, from Oct 2013 to Oct 2015.
- Head of the Department of Computer Science and Informatics- UCET-MGU from May 2013 to June 2014.
- Principal at University College of Science and Informatics -MGU, from Jun 2012 to Oct 2013.
Currently serving the University as Chairperson, BOS for Computer Science allied branches. She is serving as member of BOS, academic Counsels and Governing bodies of several autonomous and non- autonomous colleges of MGU. She is serving as member of BOS at Telangana Mahila Visawa Vidhyalayam, Hyd.
She is life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (LMISTE), received B N Sastry Memorial personal Talent award for the Year 2006 and she is recognised as “NPTEL DISPLINE STAR” for Dec 2020 by NPTEL- Swayam.
One Research Scholar awarded Ph.D. in CSE under her guidance and another three Ph.D. Research Scholars are working under her guidance.

Dr. M.JAYANTHI is an Assistant Professor in the, Department of Computer Science & Informatics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda since 4th May 2012. She did her M.Tech (CSE) from JNTU Hyderabad, PhD(CSE) from Osmania University Hyderabad and AP-SET Qualified . She has 20 years of teaching experience. She worked as Warden for Girls Hostel, Vice-Principal and Principal for University College of Engineering and Technology and discharged her duties as Chairperson for AICTE approval process Committee. She worked as Incharge Placement Officer for Engineering College. She worked as a Head of the Department of Computer Science and Informatics. She Organized 1 National seminar as convenor and published 4 research papers in International journals indexing in Scopus. Presented two papers in IEEE conference and Springer Conference. Presently working as Co-ordinator for Dean CDC MGU. She took responsibility and served in various College Level and University Level Committees.

Mrs.Dasari Sandhya Rani is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Informatics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda since 4th May 2012. She has completed her B.Tech(CSE) and M.Tech(CSE) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. Her Teaching experience is 11 years. She has 02 publications to her credit in National and International Journals. She has attended (1) International Conference, (3) Workshops and two week ISTEP workshop on Design & Analysis of Algorithms organized by IIT Kharaghpur. She attended a three day workshop on “Teaching, Learning & Evaluation online with Moodle MOOC platform & Open Education Resources” at NUEPA, NewDelhi. She is into different academic & administrative positions as warden for Girls Hostel, UCET, MGU from 2013-2014. She worked as Vice-Principal for Girls Hostel from 2015-2016. She also worked as Vice-Principal for UCET,MGU from 2013-2014,2016-2018 and at present working as Principal for University College of Engineering & Technology, MGU and Head of The Department for Computer Science & Informatics.
She also received a National award of “Adarsh Vidya Saraswati Rasthriya Puraskar” from Global Management Council, Ahmedabad. She is also a member, BOS for Computer Science, Women Protection cell & involved in various committees like Exam Branch, Cultural etc.

K. Harish Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the, Department of Computer Science & Informatics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda since 4th May 2012. He did his M.Tech(CSE). from Osmania University and pursuing Ph.D in CSE. He Worked as Academic Consultant In the Department of Computer Science& Informatics Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda from 2009-2012. He has 14 years of teaching experience. He worked as a Warden for Neelagiri Boys Hostel, MGU from 2012-2013.He also worked as a Warden for Nagarjuna Boys Hostel,UCET,MGU from 2013-2014. He worked as Vice-Principal for Nagarjuna Boys Hostel, UCET,MGU from 2014-2016., He worked as Principal for University College of Engineering and Technology,MGU from 2016-2018 .He worked as Deputy director for Hostels &Messes, MGU from 2019-2022.He worked as Head ,Dept. of CS&I from 2020-2022.
Presently he is working as Assistant Controller of Examinations (UG Section), Exam Branch, MGU. He is a member for Alumni Association, MGU. And He is also part of various College level and University level Development committees. He has published his research papers in various International and National Journals.He Co- authored one book titled “Introduction to Operating system concepts”.

CH SudhaRani , Assistant professor, Head of the Department of Computer science and Informatics ,MGU,Nalgonda . She has completed her B.Tech.andM.Tech (CS&I), and currently pursuing Ph.D from GITAM University. She has teaching Experience of 16 years and held different Academic and Administrative positions like Vice principal , Deputy director for Krishnaveni Girls hostel, NSS program officer, Member of BOS and involving various committees like Disciplinary, Anti-Ragging and Cultural etc. She has published 4 research papers at National and InternationalJournals.
